Every year, as Ramadan and Tabaski approach, hunger does not wait – and neither does FOHAD. In the most vulnerable neighbourhoods and villages, bags of rice, containers of oil and food parcels change the pace of a season and the daily lives of tens of thousands of families.

Behind every number is a child’s face. In 2025, FOHAD opened its doors to 400 orphans – 200 boys and 200 girls – in Conakry, offering far more than shelter: protection, education and the promise that no child should have to grow up alone in the face of adversity.
